I was honored to participate in the funeral procession for a fellow officer. It was my first as a motor officer. It won't be the last. Rest in Peace DPS Officer Timothy Huffman.
I share this here because all of you are riders and know the joy and memories that can be brought about by a motorcycle. I am sure each and everyone here has touched someone's life with their bike.
This photo is an informal shot of the five motors representing our agency, taken after the service. About 75 motors participated from around the state. I am on the far right.
I rode the 200 miles to the service in the morning and rode right back again. The Concours is a nice highway bike.
