Honda CB500XA - Stablemate for my Tenere!

I've been reading a lot of good reviews of the little CB500X since it was introduced several years ago. Positive enough that I wanted to see one in person and ride one to check the fit. The '17's are on the Honda website, but from what I can find out, dealers won't be seeing them for some time yet. Used ABS models are scarce, but I located one within a few hours drive and checked it out a few weeks ago. I was impressed with the little 500!

So yesterday I pulled the trigger and bought the used one. ::024::

Farkling has all ready started even though I haven't even went to DMV to get my license plate!! ::014::

I think it's going to compliment the Tenere nicely and may just be the best replacement when the Tenere gets too heavy for comfort.

I was trying to find one of these for my wife last year, but the dealers won't budge on MSRP for the CB500X's that have been sitting on the floor for 2+ MY's. I guess it's a Honda thing? Haven't had much luck finding a local one for sale either.

Yes, it seems I bounce back and forth!
Picked it up down at Apex Sports in Colorado Springs. It was a consignment bike belonging to an older guy that decided to give up riding.
Probably just the bare minimum on farkles - similar to what I had on my last Wee.

I know what you are saying. I was doing a nationwide search and there are very few '16's around. Even the '14 and '15 MY are hard to find and they are asking at or near MSRP.

Not sure yet about the Georgia ride, but better see you for WWR in June!!!! Now I will be like Chuck and have to make a decision about which bike to ride!!
