One of the dealers here in OKC had someone build a U shaped mount that connected to the GIVI engine guards. The pegs then connected at the bottom of the U or V shape forward almost to the front of the motor area. They are very comfortable. I haven't bought a set myself, but lot's of guys with S10's have. they are at Maxey's Yamaha here in Oklahoma City.

Thanks,

I have something like that from Twisted Throttle that are too high for me. I need something that gets down to close to the height of the stock pegs, but further forward.

Might give them a call, these are well made by a gentleman who is a welder and fabricator in the Oil fields. Guy can build anything.

I have a set from Maxeys, really nice quality & fold in real tight when not in use. If they don't have a set they can get some made. Ask for Chris in parts.

This is essentially the same as what I have. It doesn't work at all for me.
I usually lay my legs straight out on the pegs, then occasionally put one foot or the other on the peg for a short time. Putting my feet up on the peg does bend my knee quite a bit. But having the two different positions helps a lot.

I've put the ht highway pegs on mine. There are many ways to adjust them. I've changed pegs and bracket position twice and am going to reset them again today. The plate they use is quite sturdy. I have 36" inseam and rest my legs on them. Did 3 hr ride with them thur and liked position only I'm concerned that the plate is coming close to touching down and could lever the bike up. That wouldn't be good! I'm going to raise them an inch today to be safe.

Same with me on the ht pegs. Many ways to adjust positions. I've done it 3 times and got it perfect now. I was also concerned about them touching down and made a final adjustment to eliminate that possibility.
