Hi there,
I am reading on this forum for a while and found that it is time to introduce myself. I am Erik from the Netherlands and me and my wife enjoy motor riding a lot. Since a few months we made a change from BMW to Yamaha. I am the lucky owner of a Super Tenere. My wife is very happy with her TDM 900.
Because it is winter now the bikes are inside till spring and As I mentioned I read a lot about the great S10 on the web. There is a load of information on this forum.
I hope that 2013 brings you all a lot of safe riding and lots of fun with your bikes. For us a trip to the Dolomites is booked already [smg id=1171 type=preview align=center caption="image"]

Thank you Swagger. I live near Apeldoorn. It is a good area for riding the S10. It's almost on the center of the Netherlands.

Thank you. The alps we did last year with the BMW's. I am sure the Yamaha's will be more fun
Are there special places that we should go to in the Dolomites.

Sounds great! We will be there in june. The first two weeks. We will be riding by car to the Dolomites. The motors will be on a trailer behind the car. We are not very found of riding the motorway for a long distance. O we will be staying in a hotel at lake Misurina to do daily trips. ::001::

If you have not got it, grab a copy of "Motorcycle Journey's Through The Alps and Beyond" it has a lot of routes and tips for the region ::008::
Although it looks as if you can't go wrong as it is biking heaven and has passes crammed in tighter than anywhere else in the Alps.

Welcome Erik from Croatia! Mmmm...love Alps. Once you go there, you'll always return. June is the best period if you are lucky with the weather.
IMO, passes around Alta Badia are the best!
