Hey Steven, welcome from Texas. Are you still trying to decide on a Tenere, or what year Tenere? 'Cuz . . . . she has everything you need . . . . but maybe not everything you want.

In the UK.The super tenere was introduced in 2010.They made them in a lovely blue colour then as time went by the last 4 years they were imported here the colours went from great to dreadful. They seem to make the one with cruise control from 2018 which is what I'm looking for.2020 was last year they produced them.We now have tenere 700.I have only found one so far and it's not the most exciting colour.Matt black.

Yeah, I've never understood the logic for their color offerings depending on final destinations. As Boris just said, '14 was the start of cruise control and the ES line; e-suspension. Depending on how you're going to use your bike, will determine whether you go with a T-7 or T-12. T-7 for off road, and T-12 for highway, and/or long distance.

It's the Super Tenere 1200 I will go for.as its 95% highway long distance use I will be using it for.So the cruise control is something I have always wanted. Not that I know yet how it works. These bikes hold their second hand value well here in the UK.I was looking at a Honda CRF 1000 Africa twin for £8800 only 3200 miles on clock.1 owner.Excellent condition.but saw some bad reports on you tube about that model. So I'm sticking with the original plan and going for the Super tenere. One I have seen is £10544 with one owner.4600 miles on the clock.Black.few accessories.I plan to go to Finland.Greece.Spain in 2023 on it on 3 separate rides.Possibly meet someone on here from the UK who would also like to ride with me.as my usual riding mate is on the NHS list for a new knee.so his travels around Europe are on hold at the moment.

Thanks for that information. This is one of the dreadfully boring colours I'm mentioned earlier. Why they stopped doing those two blue coloured bikes I will never know.As they looked great. What model/age colour miles is your bike?

My bike is a 2017 non-ES with 17000 miles on it and it’s blue! Funny thing is, I love the semi-Matt black stealth look. Mind you, the USA has some stunning colours including yellow and a metallic red.
