Hi I'm Marty and I am now a Super Tenere owner!

I just joined the club. I bought a used 2012 S-10 from a close friend. I am 50 years old and have been riding since I was 12 when I got my first ride, a pull chord start mini bike. I now have to sell my DL-1000. I live in East Tennessee. I'm looking forward to learning more about my new bike and getting to know some fellow riders.

I also I bought a used S-10. I am 50 years old and have been riding since I was 17 when I got my first ride, the mighty CB250F. I sold my DL-1000.

Get some miles on the S10 and then jump back on the DL after not riding it for a while. Very interesting.

Welcome Marty I'm from mid TN too. You live in some great riding. I've been meaning to spend some time over there just haven't made it yet. Last time i went through tellico plains Mike at the outfitter highlighted a map of some good dual sport roads. Maybe this spring we can all get together for a few days. Enjoy

Hi Marty,
Welcome and congrats on your Tenere. I rode around there (Johnson City) two years ago and really enjoyed that area including the NC area like the Dragon, Cherohala, Blue Ridge etc.
Lots of side roads to explore in and around there and you have the bike to do it with! A pic would be nice.

I am right behind you... I am in the process of buying a barely used ST next week. i almost bought one about 6 months ago but the time wasnt right. I am in West Tn - Memphis, and if someone organizes a ride/gathering in the spring around Tellico Plains, I will definitely try to make it!
