I have a Givi Airflow on the S10 now, and thats better than the madstad plus standard Givi screen I had on the vstrom. The S10 gives more protection from the rain, especially the legs, but I also find my chest and arms not getting as wet, maybe thats the Givi.
sorry - yes, you are right - the width of the faired sections provides great weather protection to the legs - mine tuck right out of the wind flow which is excellent - even on very cold days, i haven't had the "cold thighs" effect from the wind blast my v-strom used to give.

Can I ask, where did you get your airflow from? - seems to be very few UK sellers (in comparison to the v-strom fitting model which everyone seemed to have and competed on price for)

I use a Givi Airflow screen and find it pretty decent, certainly better than stock, but nothing else to compare it to, I also have Yamaha side deflectors, overall weather protections seems pretty decent.

As for running in - I never really bother....

Hi Frez - i finally got round to buying one of these - bought on monday, arrived today - very very good price! - fast delivery too!

How did you fit yours?

There is a "hi" and a "low" mounting on the frame spars yeah - the std screen is meant to be on the 'low' setting - but i had tried it on the higher setting.

the GIVI screen appears to also have a "hi" and a "lo" setting - which combination did you use? does it matter do you think?

i want the lower givi section to be on the "low" setting as the screen will be plenty tall enough for me even set with the sliding part pretty low (i know from previous experience)

any thoughts?

::004:: to the forum Frez, the Brit contingent continues to grow. :)

I also have the Givi screen and mine is mounted on the low setting.
