I recently upgraded from a XT 660R to the Super 10 (During November 2010)
What a machine!!
I use my bike for daily commuting to work. (+- 70 km)
I live at the coast which means lots of sand. I battle to keep the rubber side down on the soft stuff, but hopefully I will get it right soon.
I fitted engine guards today - just in case.....
Hope I can get some good ideas & tips on this forum.

Welcome to the group Milner. Nice to hear from someone who actually has one. All of us poor saps that are just waiting for them can live through you lucky ones that already have them. Tell us more about your experiences so far.

Thanks,
When I read through the posts I noticed that you guys are actually spoiled for choice.
I noticed that you have different set-ups that you can order as well as helmet cams included etc.
We only have 2 choices here. The First Edition Adventure which comes standard with head light protector, hand guards, skid plate, & panniers.
The other one is the standard one without the extras mentioned above which is obviously ZAR 10 000-00 cheaper.
I am sorry to hear about your wait, but it is going to be worth it - believe me.
I have the blue one. - I believe everything Yamaha should be blue (personal opinion)

Welcome Milner. I am envious of the roads you have to explore there in SA. I want to come there some day.

Great place to do biking - Plenty places to explore - gravel, sand, tar & of course the famous pot hole infested roads.
