Hi from Richmond VA

I've been a longtime lurker and just joined. This is a great group and I've already picked up a bunch of info on my new ST.
In May, I bought a new old-stock 2013 SuperTen from a dealer in MS and rode the 1200 miles home to VA. Fell in love. This bike is amazing. I haven't done anything to the bike yet other than adding Givi panniers and pouring lead birdshot into the handlebars.
I just got back a few days ago from a 2700 mile trip thru the northeast- skyline drive in VA, thru WV and western MD, central PA, upstate NY, western Mass, VT and NH. And back!

How far North into VT and NH did you go? July 4th weekend I did the full length of VT, wonderful country side to ride through.

That's when we were there too (into Monday). Our home base for the ride was in Amherst Mass, so we stayed pretty far to the south and SW. In VT, we rode all through the Green Mtn NF, and NH, we just made a few loops around Brattleboro. Some great roads up there! Seems like everything has a river next to it. Next time we will definitely get up into the White Mountains.
