Hi Guys.
New here, I haven't put my Deposit down yet, but I plan to. I have two bike now, so I need to make room for the Tenere. It looks and sounds like everything I've been looking for.
I've been gun shy going with the GS, so I bought an 06 DL1K a couple of years ago. Love the bike. I also have an 03 BMW R1200CLC that's currently for sale. I put many happy miles on it and it's been pretty much bullet proof, unlike some of the other models out there, but It's time to find a new home her.

So, Now I'm looking at the Tenere. Seems to have everything I want and it'll make up for having two bikes.

Anyway, I'll be lurking to keep up with the posts.

Welcome Koinz, don't look back. ONce you put down your deposit, read some here, and hear all the stuff that this thing can so, you will be excited for sure. I loved Honda's, and now with this, oh my gosh!!!

As for Color - I really like the black. Never had a black bike yet. I love the color of my 06 Vstrom, kindof a deep red and My Beemer is Silver Metallic.

Closest yamaha dealer for me is Montgomeryville Cycle (www.montgomeryvillecc.com), so I'll probably plop my deposit there. Gotta sell the other bikes first to make room. :-\

I had to do the same with my STROM. I took the plunge and at least placed the order knowing it was May before it got here. That way it has given me some time to selll my VEE. For me, better to have placed the order than to wait another few months.
