Hi there everyone.

Just bought myself a S10 a few weeks ago. Still waiting for some decent weather to get out on it.
Hopefully then will know a bit more about these great looking bikes.

I've been riding Varadero's for a good few years so some my already know the name from other forums.

Many happy and safe miles to everyone

Welcome on, LP from Belfast. Good job on that new bike. I hope your weather improves soon. I'm looking at about minus 30 these days. Soon … very soon. ::004:: to the Forum. R. ::022::

::004:: aboard L-P. Plenty in here to check out & pass the time till the skys clear a bit and if it takes
too long, there's no such thing as bad weather- only bad clothing. ;)

Good looking machine! Welcome to the forum and congrats on your fine choice. Looks plenty sunny in the picture. Hope that means you can get out and ride!

Welcome chum. You won't be let down by this bike. Did you get her from Hursts? Nice in white. I live outside Belfast so if you want a runout or chat pm me. ::021::

Hi fjrden

Yes traded my 2012 Varadero into Hursts. Only just run in with 16,000 miles
So 5,000 miles above Ken's yearly average.
If this bike comes anywhere close to the Varadero I'll be well impressed.

Always up for a runout, Sunday mornings are good if I'm here.
Already a few trips planned for this year. Just waiting for the weather and more daylight.

Indeed I was speaking with Ken about a new one mine is 2011 with 14600 miles. Apparently bikers on average 3500 miles a year. So I am about double the average. Yea pm and we may meet up but enjoy the bike.

Mine was a late 2011, but I got it in June '12 with just 149 miles on the clock, by August '13 it was past 10k and I did not even have a bike Holiday in 2012.

Finding it hard to keep the miles down, I use another bike or the car for commuting but still find myself out at every opportunity, and most years I have a trip to somewhere in Europe where I clock up the average UK annual mileage in 10 days.

Defo need to

Once I get going here I'll not be long putting a few miles on this lady. Bikes are for riding. I Usually do between 8 and 10 thousand a year. But have stopped using my main bike to commute on.
Something older and lighter that slips through the traffic and not so precious is a better option.

Hi Terrano
I think a bike like S10 is the bike Honda should have replace the Varadero with.
