I done did it!! Been on the forum since Dec. '12, frothing at the mouth, then in feb. '13 I purchased my 2012 Raven.
I live in Las Vegas, but rode the Raven from Delta, CO where it was purchased. It was rainy, snowy,
and cold as the arctic. My wife asked, why didn't you just take the truck to
pick up your new motorcycle. Yup, you guessed it, I'm "that guy" who said it'll be fine, I bought
a new riding jacket! During the trip near Beaver, UT the snow was coming down so hard and the road was so slick, I rode the all terrain S10 approx. 5 ft. off the rode in the dirt just to get traction. At this point I began to second guess my decision to ride the new S10 home, although I would never tell my wife that, so don't say anything in Ouray. Can't get me off this bike.
I LOVE it! Can't wait to meet you folks in CO.

Welcome and glad you made it home ok. Just did a 8 day trip in the NC mountains and dealt with snow a few days. This is a big bike to drop on ice!

Yello Fellow Riders!
It's me! SupA-T! New to this, old to that. I wanna ride! But I don't even own a bike. And by "bike" I mean no motorcycle, not even a bicycle, unicycle or even a freaking tricycle! The closest I come to a bike is once a month my wife jumps on her menstrual cycle and runs my ass over! Help me! I wanna ride! :-[ So I'm getting the Super Ténéré (Like the way I put in the accents?) But till I do, I need to cuddle up to someone who already has one. (Preferably female, single.) Hope to have it by June. So in the meantime, I will hang around here to get my fix.

Hi Darth Raven .... you're one of the boys now for going to get your machine especially in those conditions. Rather you than me. Welcome to forum and keep doing whatever it is that drives you. ::008::

Now then SupA-T do you realise that you've just hijacked Darth's intro thread .... well do ya? No guess not. Anyways ... welcome to you. You may certainly hang with us and shoot the breeze. Get whatever it is you need to get together and find your ride. You're gonna need it to stay sane around here. :)

Welcome from sunny SoCal! I bought my Raven darling a couple of weeks ago and rode it home 66 miles in sideways wind. Well, that was interesting on a bike I had never ridden. Anyhow, your story trumps mine! Start upgrading!!

Welcome SupaT!!! You think the PMS is riding you ass now? Wait till the bike gets here and she says how much time the bike is consuming, let alone all the farkle $$$ you will be spending, well maybe. Better start saving now for the goodies. I had a whole pile months before the bike even got here. Thanks WASP!!!

Enjoy our banter!!!

They all showed up land sat in a pile in the garage till the bike showed up last week and then bolted them on. I AM READY TO GO FOR A RIDE!!!!!
