I'm already enjoying the fruits of the gas boom, as everything that produces heat in this house is natural gas. We didn't get a bill all summer, the NG price dropped that much. Sure beats the unfortunates that heat with oil around here.

Maybe I can see 25-35 cent a gallon gas again like we had when I was a little kid. Actually, that I doubt, since it is the higher prices that have made the shale drilling economically feasible. I have a friend in the oil business, he told me this was coming back in 1998.

I might have to go buy a new pickup with a big block in it! I sure do miss my mid seventies Ford with the 351M and C6 transmission.
