Hepco Becker Junior Flash side cases with sw-motech mounts. I had the cases from a previous bike.
3rd picture from the top, splays in the front : exactly like one of the problems experience with motech racksfredz43 said:Nce job.
Interesting that your HB bags hang straight on the SW-M racks, as do the Trax, without the splaying we have seen with the Micatecs. Sure seems like it may have something to do with the Micatec adapters.
Doesn't seem to do this with the Givi racks. At least not as much.....motocephalic said:3rd picture from the top, splays in the front : exactly like one of the problems experience with motech racks
I have it with the Trekkers as well. I really think it is the rack itself and not any of the adapters since all they do is hold the respective brand bag against the rack surface.fredz43 said:Nce job.

Can the bumpers be switched around? Also, could you put some kind of spacer at the rear handrail attachment point to extend the back of the rack out to match the front?ColoRider said:I was just out looking at mine again and the Givi bags do not mount flush at the top. There are a couple rubber bumpers that stick out about 1/4". So, about 1/4" of my 1/2" of splay on my right rack is taken care of my these bumpers. Of course, these same bumpers have just the opposite affect on the left side where my rack splays slightly the other way........
No, on the bumpers. They can only be in one position (up near the latch).ptfjjj said:Can the bumpers be switched around? Also, could you put some kind of spacer at the rear handrail attachment point to extend the back of the rack out to match the front?

Again, we are talking about two different directions of splaying. I was referring to the vertical splay we have seen on Micatecs where they are angled out from bottom to top. The splay from front to back seems to follow the lines of the bike.
