<UNSURE WHAT SUB-FORUM IT GOES>
I will like to correct the speed error, it drives me insane to calculate the speed I'm going and is distracting. Here around DC the cops are extremely harsh on speeding motorcycles. But I hate riding like a Grandpa. lol
So I went to healtech website and they had the answer to how to hook up the universal kit. But I cannot figure out which cables they are talking about, as the just say ECU coupler's Blue, but there are 2 ECU couplers.
Does anyone understand what to do there?
Thank you guys.

Q:
I have a 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z. I want install a SpeedoHealer and I was told to use the U01 Universal kit, but I was told my bike has a special installation procedure. Can you help?
A:
The XT1200Z does not have a speed sensor at the gearbox, it has ABS wheel sensors only. This is why it's very different from most bike models.
Since we do not want to modify the signal of the ABS wheel sensors, it is not possible to make a plug-n-go kit for this bike.
The ABS computer processes the wheel sensor signals and then it sends a speed information to the dashboard through the ECU. So it is safe to catch and calibrate the speed signal at the ECU connector. It won't interfere with the ABS or TC functions in any way.
Here are the installation steps for the XT1200Z:
-----------------------------------------------
1) Cut the solid Blue wire (no stripe), about 2" away from the ECU connector.
2) Connect the SH Green wire to the Blue wire end at the ECU connector side.
3) Connect the SH White wire to the Blue wire end at the main wiring harness side.
4) Connect the GPX Red wire to a switched power lead:
e.g. to the Red/White ECU wire
5) Connect the GPX Black wire to:
chassis ground or battery negative terminal
