Currently I have the Shoei Neotec - from my FJR riding days. I will soon be adding an ADV helmet to the garage. Tried the Shoei Hornet X2 - seemed like a Shoei. But then a few ADV chaos recommended the Klim Krios. Interwebs show some good reviews.

Any inmates here running a Krios? Reviews ?

It's also on my list for my next lid, I have to say it's so light and seriously comfortable, sadly I also need a new flip lid so it might have to wait.

Curious to hear feedback on it. I started off with an Arai XD4 and no doubt it was a nice helmet - I didn't have an Arai shaped head and the peak vibrated terrible on any bike with a windscreen. I bought a Shoei GT Air and it has been hands down the best money spent on a helmet. Light, comfortable, quiet and fit my head shape. Traded my Arai XD4 in for the Shoei Hornet X2. Great helmet for low speed offroad stuff, better than the Arai at speed, but still loud. Any helmet with a peak is going to make more noise than one without. Curious if Klim has figured out some secret sauce that makes it as quiet as a touring helmet. Although given that Klim only made dirt and snowmobile helmets previously I'm thinking the first iteration of the Krios might miss the mark. We'll see?

G'day All..I have a Klim Krios carbon helmet purchased last August..I have my Sena hooked up to it and it's an easy installation. I think you can get a Sena pre-installed in the USA but not here in Oz. It is light and comfortable but it's not any quieter than my AGV Rossi project carbon helmet or my HJC Rapha 11. Also limited ventilation. The visor is easy to get on or off and you need a separate dark visor. I think I paid about A$900 here and probably not worth that much and I would consider other helmets for sure..probably one with the drop down integral sun visor..in summary good but overpriced..jn
