My name Clint I'm from Sydney Australia, I recently purchased a 2014 Super tenere ES.
The S10 shares the garage with my MT-09/FZ-09 I traded my VFR1200 in for the S10 as I have toured most of my surrounds tarmac and intend to head off on some off road excursions.
I'm Still recovering from a head on collision last year where I suffered a spinal cord injury, I decided to trade the VFR as the riding position was causing me discomfort for long distances.
The Tenere is my first adventure bike and I chose it due to a number of features I was looking for such as the standard equipment and its off road ability.
Mods so far aren't much just a PC-8, some PIAA 530 Fog and driving lights, I have wired up my Zumo 590lm and just waiting on some Altrider bars and skid plate to arrive.
I have some TKC80's waiting ready to put on just as soon as I chew out thew OEM tyres which I'll do during the run in process.
I intend to explore some of the places I would have never taken my VFR due to worrying about getting it dirty or stone chipped. Some over night camping and some day trips just exploring some fire roads and trails throughout NSW.
I hope to be able to contribute to the forum with my knowledge and experience asd I have already taken away a fair bit while reading the threads and waiting for account activation.
