Good day all, been lurking on the site for the last week or two and decided to join. I am going to be purchasing a S10 by spring 2014. I am debating on purchasing one sooner than later but with winter looking like it's setting in here in Alberta I'm not in a real panic yet.
A little about me, I currently ride a 2007 KTM 950 SM and absolutely love it but it is a bike made for the paved twisties of the rockies and I don't get a chance to make it out there with the bike anymore with having 2 young kids. I bought the SM in 2008 and did a trip down the west coast to LA and it was a real blast but since then have had the 2 little ones and anything more than a day trip is pretty hard to do now and the 950 isn't that great to ride unless it's all day twisties. It takes a good part of a day ride to get to the roads where the 950 can really shine.
This is the reason the S10 is the bike for me now. I live North West of Calgary Alberta and there is so many back country roads very close to me that I want to start exploring on a adventure bike, so many more options for an awesome day ride right out my back door, off the pavement away from all the traffic.
Cheers! ::008::
