Hi guys,

Just looking to buy a Super Tenere. I already have a Z900RS Cafe. I'm located in Miami.

Thank you!

Welcome from Northern Illinois. One of my other bikes is a 2001 CBR 1100XX Super Black Bird. Good to have choices when you walk into the garage!

I rode a Black Bird a few years ago and was unimpressed to say the least. I’m guessing that it must have been a dog because so many people love them. It was through a dealer that had traded it and that dealer was known for dodgy practices.

I have the Tenere now so no need to look at anything else for a while

Hello from Australia
I have an ‘84 GPZ900R in the shed & the original Z9 is the only Japanese bike acceptable to the old Harley crowd in Australia.
If you ever want to see a B-grade motorcycle movie, hunt down one called Stone.
Not bad but only a few were actors. The rest were riders

It is a 10 sec machine in the quarter mile. it's no dog. now it is pretty docile under 7,000 RPM but above that it will take the uninitiated by surprise. under 7,000 it is a pussy cat that anyone can ride. At 90 mph the aerodynamics really starts to come alive and the bike squats down and becomes very stable and the calm bubble around the tucked rider is awesome.
agree the ST is a great machine too.

That’s what I’ve heard over the years… that’s why I thought that the one I rode was a bad example (hence the dog). I wasn’t referring to the entirety of them with that term
