Just purchased a white 2013 Super Tenere on Thursday. Traded my 2003 V Strom with 63000 miles. Did about 150 miles yesterday including some gravel down by the Ohio River. LOVE the new ride. Better in every way than the Strom was and I loved the Strom. Looks like i will be a very happy owner. Any locals that might want to get together for a ride let me know. Been in southern Indiana for about 9 years after relocating from So. Cal. , but haven't made many riding connections. ::021::

WELCOME!!! As a fellow white ST owner, I can assure you that you made the right choice in color! It's a scientific fact that white creates less drag and red stripes add more HP!

Almost got a matte gray, but it had been sold the day before. Didn't want a blue one, and hadn't seen the white in person. Test rode the white one, and by the time I got back had decided white was the better choice for me anyway. And of course I am well aware that red stripes add horsepower.

I've had lots of bikes, from standards to cruisers, to sport bikes. Currently have 2 old Hondas, a royal star and the ST. Amazing how they keep getting better and better........

By the way, name is Gene, Rudeavenger is my superhero name.

Welcome aboard from a fellow Hoosier on a white ST. I get down your way pretty regularly as there are some nice roads in the area. Maybe we need to get all the white ST's in Indiana together for a ride sometime. Do you think the rest would call us racist ::025::

Gotta be careful with that in southern Indiana, there is a reputation down here.

Maybe Cycleist? Colorist?, no that doesn't sound good either!

I'll be out and about on the bike Sunday don't get up to TH very often, but I'll be in Linton on Monday, sadly in the car.......
