First post been doing some reading. I don't currently own a Tenere but its on my short list for my next bike. I currently own a 09 Kawasaki Versys and don't plan on selling it, however I would like a true DS bike in the stable. I can't see spending the money on a BMW GSA plus cost of ownership seems high. Attached is my V...its great bike.

Thanks everyone....I would bite the bullet but I don't have the funds. I just paid off the V...the War Department would not be happy if I got into another bike so quickly....Maybe in the spring. Riding season is just about over here. Its not the cold that keeps me off the roads its the salt.

Offcamber, i know what you mean about the salt. I drove a new bike home in 2003 on Jan 11 and 19 degrees and slightly snowing. The roads were dry, but i think there was still enough salt on the road to coat the fittings and bolt heads. Oh well, it was nice to drive a new bike home anyway.
