Hello from NE Missouri

Just brought a new '12 home a couple of days ago after trading my 3rd and last FJR1300. Got back into riding in '04 after 25 years off a bike.

After about 8 years on the FJRs, neck and back problems have arrived. I loved the bike, and hope the S-10 riding position will keep me on the road. Added the hard cases, and plan to do some kind of engine guards, otherwise stock looks pretty good for now.

My learning curve will be straight up for a while, so I'm sure I will be getting a lot of use from this forum. Please show kindness and patience with the new boy........

I'm retired and live between Quincy, Il. and Hannibal, MO. I also ride a V Strom 650. Please give a shout if you are going to be in the area sometime. Except for MO 79, there aren't any really good back roads in the area, but I know some pretty good ones.
