Just bought a 15 tenere and love it.
After much homework and deliberation to decide between the tenere, africa twin,tiger 800xc, vstrom and wee strom
Found a great deal on the s 10.
Liked the shaft drive,tubeless tires, yamhas 26,000 mile valve adjustment intervals, general bullet proof reliability and dealer network. Ive been a long time kawi guy, my first street bike was a 84 gpz 750 then a 87 ninja 750R, 2000 ZX12R and last a Klr 650. Which i loved but just didnt have what it takes on the freeway at 75 to 80. Where 90 percent of my riding is around here.
but looking forward some long distance treks on the new bike.

So back to yamaha...my first bike in my life. A bw80. And now the tenere.

A great bike indeed. Point that thing towards Utah in a few weeks for the upcoming rally. Or head down to Dulonos pizza on the first Thursday of the month for the local get together. Always parked on the NE corner of the intersection. Lots of good info on this site welcome.

Thanks! Yeah I've been down for that a few times but sometimes I don't finish work till late and every body's cleared out. Maybe I'll give er a shot next month.
Moab is on the list. As well as glacier national. I was a long haul truck driver( now local ) and I've seen a lot of places I'd wished to go back to on a bike.
