Hi there...
I'm 80% over the edge in ordering the new Super Tenere....(maybe closer to 95%)....I've been riding for 40 years on all kinds of things from older H-Ds, to BMWs (an 85 BMW K100 still is my favorite all-time bike). I traded in a Kawasaki Concours on a Honda NT700V last spring...nice bike and does everything you want a bike to do...however, I have always eyed the adventure series, and couldn't afford one... until maybe now.
I don't ride much off-road, but nice to know I could if I did want to (I once ended up on top of a mountain in central CA when the road kind of disappeared and there was no other way to get down but follow the dirt track down....on an old H-D).
Most of my riding is Spring to Fall (I'm originally from CA, where MCs could be your only transportation) ....I like doing 2 day ride-all-day solo trips
