Hello, recently bought my new S10. Love it.. Wanted to try out a GS Adv but it was to much hard work for the BMW garage, they said I could take one out for maybe 20mins. So after that I rang up my local Yamaha dealer in Accrington who said no problem. Take one out for a day.. so I did.
Very happy with her! Looking at getting a pair of panniers, the Stahlkoffer's look like a great deal.

The pic is not my bike.. it's the world-crosser I took for a test, mines the same but without the WC stickers and few carbon fibre bits

Actually my bike is in Lancashire... I'm currently in Mobile, Alabama waiting to head back to the UK after 5 weeks offshore in the GOM. So not far from Texas! ::003::

Welcome aboard. Good that you got a long test ride to try the bike before laying down money. Around here it seems like the BMW dealer is happy to let you test ride anything you want. Triumph as well. The Yamaha dealers, or any metric for that matter...not so much.

Yes indeed welcome friend. The S10 is my first dual purpose machine and speaking from experience and research if you are competent, confident the bike can go just about anywhere. Welcome. ::021::
