I'm currently riding an F650GS Dakar but my next bike will likely be an S10. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for providing such a great resource. ::003::

Welcome to the forum twin rider.

This week I have been doing some catching up with people that were stationed at or lived at Tachikawa AB. Good times.

Thanks for the warm greetings. :)

@Rem, just one of me but I love riding twins...

@snuffcityrider, Even though the S10 is made just down the road from me in Shizuoka, it's only sold as a reimport here and is priced about $4k higher than stateside even with the high yen... :'(

@T12, The W650 was sold a couple years ago to make room for a Dakar. Sold the TDM a few months ago after getting a great offer on it to help clear the way for an S10. If I can get a fair price for my Road King, the door to S10 ownership will be open. ::012::

I'm in Yokohama and have a few riding buddies from Yokosuka, did you ride while you were over here?

Sure did, I bought a XR400 motard while I was over there and went all over, did my military required MSF at the Yokohama North Docks. Pretty fun riding over there.

Maybe you knew Phil Ketsdever? He was there for about 10 years, rode a DRZ400SM and later an FZ1.
