hi This is huseyin from Turkey - istanbul
Tenere is my 4th bike and I have started my riding carrier with transalp and then switched to varadero and VFR 800 finally I have ended up on super tenere when I was thinking about buying a GS 7 months ago. I am happy with the decision. I do not own a car and basically my bike is my only vehicle when it comes to commuitting.. during heavy winter tenere had build even more trust for me with its stability and reliability. In a wild jungle like istanbul traffic Tenere done great job for me with its maneuverability and heavy braking power. I hope it has more power at low rev and slightly longer power band especialy in first 3 gears so that it wont made me shifting gears for aggressive acceleration. I am considering ECU tunning if it really provides significiany change. the biggest change for me after leaving varadero, tenere fells like alot safe and it is in deed easy to control than varadero.
Happy to own my bike I hope to have a trip to balkans including greece- macedonia and albania this summer.

Welcome aboard huseyin! We have some members that have been doing some great work paving the way on the ECU reflash and related upgrades. I think you'll find the information on it in the forum extremely interesting. Again, welcome! :)

Welcome on, huseyin from Turkey. It sounds like the Tenere is the bike for you for the traffic jungle. Glad it's working for you. Send us some pictures if you can. ::004:: R ::022::
