Hello from Down Under

Hello all,
I'm Nico, and a recent convert to the Super Tenere ranks, and now wondering why I took so long to get one!
I'm 56 yo and I returned to riding several years ago after family time, and other life events.
I also ride a Yamaha FJR1300, and bought the XT1200 to get to more of our great country that isn't covered by bitumen.
I've put a few extras on the bike since getting it. Bash plate, engine protection bars, windscreen height adjuster, highway pegs, and just about to fit some LED driving lights. The information here on the forum will be invaluable in my journey.
I look forward to getting into it more and more.

Hi Nicole, hope you enjoy your new ride . I m from the Adelaide hills and have had my tenere for over six months and have done over 11000 km. I am now in British Columbia Canada with my S10 on our 11week tour up to Alaska and around North America .

Get on the Ottway my boy its excellent up there Ocean Road out before the grockles get on there with there carvans and buses and back along the Ottway tracks, if you can monitor Ch38 (I think) thats the logging trucks which can make things interesting but thats pretty much all the traffic you find up there; enjoy
