I have been riding for most of my 47 years.
I got my start into riding in the dirt on a XR75 way back when.
Rode dirt for ever until there just wasn't any place to ride here in CT.
I retired to street riding working up from smaller bikes up to my current 1998 ST1100.
Still needing a dirt fix I also have a CRF450X and try to get in as much riding as I can, mostly in Southern NJ.
Friends are into the ADV sport and jealousy struct and I fell in love with the Super T when I saw one at the Moto GP in Indy.
So here I am about to make a counter offer to my local dealer.
Doing some research I hope I am making a fair offer but still not sure.

Their offer OTD is $16515 with the side bags.
This is including freight, doc, tax etc.

I still think this is high.
I want to offer $15555 OTD

Any thoughts? Would I be getting a good deal?

Thanks,

Look forward to learning as much as possible from this fine group.

Welcome! Hard to tell since tax varies by state, but you should be able to get the bike with bags for around $14k or maybe a bit more (not incl tax). That's what I paid for my 2012.

Howdy Mike from CT. I can't offer much help. Prices in Canada are all obscene compared to you US of A types. Especially here in the frozen far north. I'm with Swag .... just do it. You'll feel better, and you'll enjoy the bike so much you won't even remember what you paid for it. Probably. Maybe. OK, just sayin'. ::012:: ::004:: to the Forum. R. ::022::
