Hello from a new member

Hi All, just a note to say hello from a new forum member and owner of an S10 since the beginning of the year.

I used to have a DL1000 which i thought was brilliant, sold it about a year ago to ride my CBX1000 for the season and ended up buying the S10 over the New Year break.

Verdict so far is that the S10 is definately better than the DL1000 (which really was good), but for more money i would expect it to be!. I've made a few changes so i'll post those in the mods section, but here's a picture or two to get you going - and yes i went silver!

So this is taken on the day i picked the bike up:

That silver Is growing on me. I have the black on order. It seems yamaha provides a canvas on which to accentuate color combos, etc...

Please do provide additional pictures of your mods. As you know, we can see, but we can't touch ours yet.

i can see how the WASP red decal set would add some nice color to this bike as well as the White Tenere for sure. Nice bike!!!

Welcome to the forum! The silver looks real nice. You folks across the pond get a lot more choices when it comes to colors, at least for non-cruisers or big bikes like GoldWings. I am a little surprised that we had any choice at all as usually we do not. Anyway, welcome and keep us enthralled with your farkling and ride reports, it will keep the US guys from bouncing off the walls waiting on our bikes!

Thanks for the kind greetings, I'm not Simon jones from vsri although I was a forum member there too.

I spent a while wondering if I did the right thing going silver but am glad I did, more my style than the blue, but I've always been a bit odd. The wasp sticker kits do look good, I wondering about the black rather than red, could be more stylish in my way of thinking. Won't be doing that for a few weeks though as I'm getting ready to take her to the isle of man for the TT races in a couple of weeks.

I also thought about the side panels going black or grey after I saw the White s10, good to see the Photoshop mock up so thanks for doing that, appreciated alot. I think it has helped me decide to look at the wasp stickers first.

The Wasp stickers do look good. I will probably go with the red or gray ones on my Raven, whenever it finally gets here.
