Hello finally..

I've been lurking but never introduced myself. I'm Omar from Anaheim and new owner of a '14 ES whichi got weeks ago. It's my first roadbike, though i've been riding trail with my crf250x for a couple of years now.

This bike is awesome, very light once in motion. I have been carefully learning the ropes with riding in Los Angeles/OC specifically doing lane splitting. Slowly...

Last friday I left Anaheim and headed east to Houston to spend a week with my little girl. I took I-8 from San Diego and got onto I-10 once in Tucson. It was hot @107F !

I got a taste strong crosswinds in TX. Then a strong downpour past San Antonio. The bike performed flawlessly! I pitched my tent druing the trip twice averaging 500 miles a day.

This bike is for me! I love her! She's got 2500 miles on her clock.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys! The bike is so comfy that during my travel from SoCal to Houston, there was no buttache.

I think i'm fine with the windshield and getting ventilation on my arms. There is some minor buffeting but its bearable. I am totally fine with the stock setup.

In a few days I will be heading up to oklahoma them head back west.

I'm excited already!

Welcome, Omar! Enjoy your trip. The Super Tenere is the best all-round motorcycle I have ever owned. I am sure you will find it everything you could have hoped for, and more!
