Heat management headlight with led conversion

Hi,

this might have been asked, probably has but I can’t find it somehow, anyway how does the headlight cope with the heat when doing a led conversion?
There are these new Osram Night Breaker LED bulbs which are road legal. I’m considering getting extended caps and fitting these. But they have fans so I would thinks they need a fresh air supply or will it be fine with the air inside the headlight casing?

I have the LED lights with fans and I also have a pair of extended caps, 3DP by a company called Wiz here in UK, now I have never fitted these items and I no longer have my S10 so unfortunately, I can’t answer your questions, but if you do decide to go ahead, let me know and perhaps we can agree on a price for the extended caps.

had mine in for 6 years now with extended caps no issues at all in fact not had a bulb fail either

I had two caps printed and ordered a set of road legal Osram H7 LED night breaker bulbs.
