Not sure what you mean, as the internal shutters are built into the headlight shell.

Been doing trips to France for the past 30 years, multiple times per year and never once have used beam deflectors. I really wouldn't bother.

What are "beam deflectors"? Is that something used in Europe?
Yes, in the UK we drive on the left and headlights are aimed slightly left. When we travel across to mainland Europe they all drive on the right so we should ideally adjust our beam so not to blind oncoming traffic.

That makes good sense. I've drove on the right my whole life and if you put me on the road in England, I would just be an accident looking for someplace to happen.

Don't need to, flat beam pattern on our bikes (and on most now EU directive, finally they get something right ::010:: ), I've had a UK bike in Switzerland for years, and an 2012 S10 and now a 2016 S10, not an issue, even with MFK!!

As Dogdaze says, shouldn't be a problem with the S10 headlight.

Just make sure, once you are loaded up with suspension corrections, to check the beam adjustment, to make sure you are not dazzling oncoming traffic.
