I've never done a HID conversion and anxious to hear how it goes in the SuperT. I might have to add these to my "future farkle" list!!!hANNAbONE said:reason for asking about the H7??

these lil' babies gettin' popped into my headlight bezels.
Had these on a 2005 GSA and were the friggin' NUTS on output and changing night into day.!
Cheap & ez-ypeezy install too.
I've heard that as well, but expect the law is aimed at those conversions that are so badly aimed and/or obviously not even close to OEM (too blue looking). I would think if a person uses a good quality kit and has a good installation, the LEO's would never have any reason to even question them.ptfjjj said:I have read that HID conversions are illegal in some states, so you may want to check before converting, or at least have the old lights handy to swap out for inspections and/or citation satisfaction. I guess I'm not too worried about it cuz I already have LED turn signals to put on, and I know that they are not DOT approved.
We have a shutter that moves inside the housing for hi/low, you can hear it move. same light intensity high and low, just more of it on high.HoebSTer said:am i seeing things, or what??? When i goto a book and look up an H7 bulb, they are two prong, not three!!! Does the XT use 2 or 3 prong for each headlight bulb?
Yes, but there are two bulbs lit all the time, so you will not loose all illumination.doctorj said:Hmmm, a single filament means it is all gone when it burns out and not just a low or high. I better carry at least one spare, huh.
