If you see a yellow ST loaded down for a few days in Hill Country give me a wave. Plan to be in Kerrville tomorrow night and Fredericksburg the following night.

Did that trip on the last weekend of March. Much rain. I usually avoid Fredericksburg because of the traffic. But I am partial to Kerrville, and roads west. Be safe, and have fun.

A little windy here in Kerrville but otherwise a beautiful day - sunshine and mild temperature. Enjoy your time in the hill country!

I'd never get anything done if I lived down there. Beautiful roads & friendly people....they'd have to send out a search party to find me. ::001:: (But I would NOT be in Fredericksburg)

You really need to stop in Llano at Coopers for some fantastic BBQ! Yum... Yumm!

I was in Llano about a month ago. . . Stopped at Coopers. I got 1 beef rib, 3 pork ribs, 1 piece of sausage, cobbler and Ice tea. Bill came to $30. ??? ??? ???
It was good, but not $30 dollars good. To rich for my blood. I won't be back.

First, your avatar warms my heart.
Second, seeing where you live, how have we not crossed paths? :)
And finally, since that is where you live, fortunately for you (us) there are a few mighty fine BBQ joints right down the street.

Cheers neighbor.

We just came back from that area last weekend as well. I thought the weather was outstanding if it was a bit windy. Hit f'burg, Kerrville, Leakey, twisted sisters, and boerne. What a blast. Wish I could go back again before the heat hits.

BTW, I'm with you on Cooper's. Over priced for what it is.

I've had bbq there a couple of times over the last 10-15 years but I honestly prefer Hutchins in McKinney.
