I'm interested. All the ideas posted so far have their merits, I could go along with pretty much any of them.

Count me in for a hat and a t-shirt (as long as it's not black).

Thanks, HoebSTer!

Would you all like a hat or TEE? I talked to a lady today that does embroidery!!!

For siimplicity sake of the thread stitches i thought to go with the picture below then have the words on top and bottom of it:

Top words : XT1200Z

Pic

Bottom Words: Super Tenere

Back of hat : Yamaha

What are your thoughts and who would be interested?

Actually I have a best friend who does this - and he might even be buying an S10 in the near future...

He just purchased a stitch / embroidery biz that tags his huge screen print shirt shop...

He'd do us a fantastic price - all I gotta do is ask him.

Jeff : why not send me an email with the logo's attached and I'll get some prices from him....cool?

ok, many of you have seen the finished hats and shirts FredZ43 has done from Neihaus. I have mentioned some sort of art work earlier in this post about what to put onto hats and shirts as well. I have just come from the embroidery place, and this is the second person that has told me they will not do the logo's associated with any manufacturer. I have come up with another version of the sand dunes and even different fonts to use for the words "Super Tenere" and "XT1200Z" in case anyone wants to mess with that as well. I will try to post up what I have drawn from a few pictures I have found online of the Tenere Desert to use. The embroider will do the Blue Tenere Dude, i have listed in a few earlier posts here on this topic.
Oh, i am looking at a modern style of hat, and even some cooling style of T-shirts. I should be around $12-14 for a hat, and $22-26 range for a wicking Tshirt.

Jeff,

I like what you did with the blue dude for a shirt. I'm not much of a hat guy, but I would think that something like this for a shirt would go over well.

nice stitching on those hats! I don't really ever wear hats, but if I did, I'd sure wear one of those. I do, however, wear lots of t-shirts down here in Florida.....

Where I live in Chiriqui, Panama, every one here from the local Indian population, the local farmers and ranchers, to the world class tourist crowd, EVERY ONE is into "Logos, Graphics & Identity Tags"
What a wonderful way to display a friendly and passive explanation of our interests to a curious, potential "fellow rider". Just the thought of a bike hardy enough to be named after such a harsh place must really be worth it's salt. The other aspect of this is that another opportunity opens, to share our group agreement about Nature and our dedication to Conservation. I think the "sand dune" and "Desert Dude" should both be used, as "Desert people don't leave messes".
I would like to have a couple of each to use on our up-coming ride from here up to the US, then both Coasts and return from Grand Canyon area. Most of our "Extras, and farkle's" are on the way, but will have to wait to fit up riding boots and gloves. We've got a pair of the new Silver "Bell Vortex" helmets w/photo-grey shields on the way, to go with the new Aerostich, Roadcrafter jackets, to go with our new Silver XT1200Z to be delivered THIS FRIDAY!!
Put me down for 2 med & 2 xl shirts and 2 hats. GP

Will definitely be interested in a shirt, Jeff! Will the long-sleeve also be the wicking fabric?

Jeff, here is another .jpg file that would produce a good hat and shirt. What do you think?
