Hello All. I've been lurking for some time now. I was a previous owner of a VStar 950 that I had sold a while back with the intent to purchase a new bike. I decided that I wanted to do more touring and my 950 wasn't cutting it. The Cruiser setup with legs out in front put too much pressure on my lower back when on long rides. So it came down to an FJR1300 and an S10. It was a toss up. Recently found an 2014 S10 with EVERYTHING ON IT that I couldn't pass up! I absolutely love this bike. After being motorcycle-less for about a year, my soul feels complete again with the S10 sitting in its rightful place in my garage.

With that said, I'm super excited to join and participate in this forum community. Hopefully I can contribute to the forum like all of you have.

Nice first post too!

By the way, I have an SCR950 with that same Vstar motor. Really like it.
But jumping off of it onto the S10 is an adrenaline boost.

Welcome to the club!!! You couldn't of gone wrong with either bike. I was also on the fence on the FJR, both are amazing rides, but I really enjoy the S10.
