Love the bike .. but miss the bitching and fixing posts more often posted on my "past ride" forums ...

S10 / ST only seems to be owned by mature riders that often never have any significant problems on their rides ... few you tube S10 / ST crashes or stupid stunts

Guess I will just have to ride more and "For Em' less ...

Here, watch me fall several times on the S10. They're all at either low speed or beautiful, soft sand breaking my fall.

In that second video, around 1:17, my first fall killed my radiator fan. The "cloud montage" was my GoPro still recording when I put my helmet on someone's bike while we try to figure out WTF was wrong with my bike until we figured out the fan was dead.

on the first one:

looks like the 18 inches or so until the sand ran out saved some bike parts, going down on that bridge I guess you would not have faired so much. Good move kick stand then a quick pick up.

Thanks for sharing. I Hate Sand ... Then way did you move to Florida dumb head .....
:)

I ended up down here due to school and stuck down here due to the wifey. I used to think there were no riding trails down here but I was for sure wrong. They're just hidden in Indian reservation land.

Btw, the sandy areas in my second video are from Ocala National Forest. Yes, it's in the middle of FL and not next to a beach and yes, there is A LOT of sand there.

I couldn't see in the videos if you were setting your TC after restart. I would think that TC1 in the sand would work against you. The Tenere has a short list of things I wish were different, defaulting to TC1 at key on is one of them.

After needing two people to help me get the bike out of deep sand and wondering why the throttle wasn't helping, it dawned on my a week later that the TCS was screwing me so badly the whole time. Now I know better. :)
