Im a dumb ass. Got off work sunday afternoon, walked out to the bike, threw my gear into the Givi, closed it, and then reached for my keys...... In the Topbox. Went inside and looked for my spare key. No such luck. Studied the situation for a while, then got a screwdriver and... well lets just say it was way to easy to crack open the Givi. Snap snap, 5 seconds and I was in.
Again, Im a dumb ass. The Trax boxes cant be locked without a key. I like that better. So now Im putting stainless hinges on the Givi. A little bit stronger. Maybe 10 seconds to get in now.

Which style Givi Box ?
oops, The Givi B33 Monokey.
Thanks for the info coastie, the Trekker is my next box, so thats real good to know.
Just so you know, slide a screwdriver in the gap between lid and base under the hinge and just give it a quick yank, they snap right off. probably not helping thieves by sharing this, its pretty easy to figure out. Locks just keep honest people honest.
