Hey guys,

Picking up my new matte grey 2013 Tenere tomorrow! Looked at a lot of bikes but the Tenere won me over in the end. My last bike was a DL650 that I loved but it's time for a upgrade.

I'm old friends with one of the members here who helped sway my decision. We grew up chasing each other through the mountains on our Honda Elsinore 125's and now nearly 40 years later we're both riding the same bike again. Cool.

Not much of a internet forum kinda guy but I wanted to say thanks for all the helpful info I found here.

I still want to ride with you but I leave in the AM riding to CA then down Baja, Mexico... Yippie! I'll be home in 3 weeks or so!
