Hello, I'm Matthew. I am new to the Super Tenere and Adventure Riding. I have been riding for years on various bikes from Sport, to Cruisers to Sport Touring. I just came off of a 2009 Connie and now Jumped blindly into the Super10. I was so impressed with how the dealer treated my girlfriend and they got her set up on her new FJ-09, I just had to look at the Yamaha. I picked up a 2016 Yamaha Super Tenere first new bike for me. not even a month into it and I have over 1,000 miles. My impression is very surprised by how this bike handles and really has its own personality. I am eager to learn, read and share with you. My GF is brand new to this sport and picked up a well used FZ6 and cranked up 4,000 on a 30,000 mile bike in 4 months and now 2k on the FJ-09 this summer. She is turning it into a small adv bike with the type of riding we enjoy to do together.
