Greetings from the Frozen North (Minnesota)

Hello everyone! My name is Jeremy and I'm a Tenere-caholic. I currently reside in the metro area in Minnesota. I bought a brand new '13 in grey back in April of 2014. Previous ride was a lovable but...cranky...1979 Yamaha XS1100 Special.

Old! - did a ton of work on this one. I can go in to detail if people want.

New! - current farkles: alt rider crashbars, givi outback trekker panniers. Plan on getting the alt rider skidster and maybe the yoshi exhaust.

Any who, I had been lusting after this bike for quite some time. I'm glad to be a part of this community (same username over on adv) and look forward to bs'ing with you all!

Hi Jeremy. I grew up in Minneapolis and most of my family is still up there. Welcome from a home boy! Great bike, great bunch of people riding them, and great forum.

I have one of these in the garage too

Haven't ridden it since bringing home the Tenere. I keep it running though.
186,000 miles and I wouldn't think twice about riding it anywhere. but rather be riding the Tenere.

Hi Jeremy, Good choice, mine has been great. If you can come on down to the Rally on Lake St in Mpls. I f you don't know about it they have on the first wed of the month when we can ride of course at Dulnows Pizza. That old XS would fit right in as there are a lot of vintage machines and you name it, always a good time. We are always on the north east corner in the empty lot. How about the weather lately 35 sure felt good after last week -15 when can we ride?

Definitely. I try to make it to Dulono's a couple times a season. I sold the XS after I purchased the S10. She had plenty of looks when I brought her there though. I'll keep the location in mind! What time do you generally get there? I'm always a late show after its packed. How many other Minnesota Tenere's are out there? Today approaching 40° got the riding juices flowing for sure.
