G'day all,

I presently ride an '09 Kwaka KLR650 which I'm pretty happy with, but I'm starting to think that a bit more "grunt" would be nice! ;)

From what I've read so far, the Super Tenere is an excellent road bike and a good dirt-road machine, so given the sort of riding I'm into, it sounds perfect!

Anyway, I look forward to learning a lot from the experts out there!

Glad you could pop in.

Hello and welcome to the group. The XT12 would surely give you the extra grunt you are looking for.

Ummm..... Yeah..... Depending on how fast your ride, it's about a five day ride to Perth (averaging around 600 miles per day) from Darwin! ;D

Yeah, as long as it's good in a straight line, that's about all that matters up here! ;)

Corners are few and far between.... probably why it's such a popular locale for Harleys.... at the risk of being flamed, they're not really made for corners, are they? :D

one would think, having never been to Auzzie Land, there would be many dirt roads there. Is this true of the tale we hear?
