Hi guys.
My name is Dmytro, from Kyiv, Ukraine. I know that most of you knows how we are here, and motorcycle is probably one of the few joys that some of us have now, a kind of two-wheeled psychotherapist :)
My previous bike is a BMW r1100gs 1998y.o, with 200,000 km on odometer (but probably more, I'm not a first owner ;).
I've been dreaming of a ST for around 5 years, collecting funds... this year I decided that I couldn't drag it any further, and while there's time and opportunity (at least theoretically), I need to do something nice for myself. :) And I bought a 1200ze from a Canadian auction. And now I am repairing it in my free time, and I hope that in a month and a half I'll be able to ride)

Putting this puzzle together little by little) Judging by the damage and a little stuck wool in pieces of plastic - this bike met a deer in Canada)

Yeah.. It took about 3 months.. now it needs to be fixed, than certified and registered.
Not straight to Ukraine. From Canada to Poland/Lithuania by ship...

The reason is simple - such bike, in normal condition of such a year, it will cost about 2 times more than bike from US/CA with registration and repair here.

Yes, in general, all the front plastic, headlight, radiator, fan... I already bought most of them and a few more parts on the way. Have to deal with the fasteners) not entirely clear how it is all attached to each other. But I have a friend who is ready to come and we will make everything based on the example of his ST..

Get her running brother. Get the wind in your hair.

My family is from Odessa. Pushed out during the last world war.

Here are the parts:

We can not post links to the "2012 Yamaha Service Manual" on this forum but it easy easy to find with a Google search.

Good luck and keep us up on how you are doing. A lot of owners here know every inch of the bike.
