Hello all. I am taking the plunge into dual sport riding and considering a Super Tenere for the task. Happy to be a part of this community! Jeff

Welcome Jeff, from Texas. I can tell you she's fantastic on the street, my favorite ever. The closest off roading I've done is a graded dirt road.

Welcome, Jeff. You're in a great place for it. I'm hoping to get back up into the Bend area this summer or early fall for some adventure riding.
You've got Ride Adventures (rideadv.com) right in your backyard. If you haven't checked them out, you should look them up. They do tours and even have self guided tours for the more adventurous (or introverted).

Thanks Sierra1. I'm not planning on anything to hard core off road. We have a lot of great dirt/gravel roads in the mountains and high desert nearby. Also, some amazing paved roads with not too much traffic and beautiful scenery!

Thanks for the well wishes from the U.K. and Canadian crew! I'm I huge fan of both areas. I can be in Vancouver, BC in about 9 hours and love that area. I have very fond memories of the two years I spent in the U.K. during the late 1970's at RAF Upper Heyford.
