I have a GPS tracking system on my Super Tenere under the seat. I put a on/off switch in the plastic housing below the cigarette lighter plug to turn it off for long storage periods so it doesn't drain the battery. I have since gone to a battery tender so it is fine all the time. The GPS tracker is from www.fleetistics.com, which is my company. We normally do vehicle tracking for service companies but we have a small unit the size of a pack of cigarettes that I covertly installed under the rear seat. We created a video you can watch here. http://youtu.be/PyCnOpvLqb0 If you are interested I'll offer anyone from this forum a 10% on the GPS units.
The GPS tracker allows me to recover my bike if stolen. I could go online and find my bike in minutes and direct the police to the bike. I can also track my ride on a map and replay it. The best part is that my wife can keep up with my location. If I fail to come home or she wants to see my progress she can just login and see me. Since I'm not hiding anything, I'm fine with this.
