Where's the best place you've found to mount a gps? On the hanlebars? the windscreen mount? How's the vibration?

I need to mount my garmin 610 and have a ram mount. Curious about everyones experiences with this!

actually no idea why I have this pic! But I like it on the bar with ram mount. Solid and easy to reach. Not in the way of instruments or single track right in front.

Mine is mounted to the accessory bar on the windshield mount. There's too much vibration without some sort of reinforcement to the mount, so I got a set of reinforcing bars from a member on the forum (Propsoto). The cradle for the GPS is a RAM cradle (the GPS is a Nuvi 2455). It's attached to the accessory bar with the standard RAM double socket, and a homemade ball mount. I did modify the adjustment knob of the RAM double socket so it would be easier to tighten; it's a little confined in the space between the mount and the windshield to get my hand in there. The GPS plugs into a USB port on a homemade shelf mounted above the instrument pod; I made a bracket that allows me to screw the USB power cable from the GPS into the USB outlet, so it won't come loose from vibration while riding.

Here is a DIY bar for Gen1 S10.

Made of AL sheet metal frame and plastic water pipes with end caps riveted to the AL frame.

I used a TechMount directly on the handlbars in the middle and it was perfect and solid. However I just installed a Helibar riser block and can no longer mount here. So I am looking at the cross member of the Madstad bracket.

I've got the SW-Motec vibration damped jobbie. I had to make up a little plate to raise the GPS cradle up a bit higher so that the dash wasn't obscured:

I've got my Zumo and a cellphone cradle on my accessory bar. They're rock solid.
Greetings, Where did you get those 2 gadgets that clamp to the accessory bar? I want to locate the display for my TPMS there.

Thanks.
