Had a surprise free day(sick wife, sunny day and one of my 4 days a month off) so off on a ride I went.

Down to Huntington Beach to pick up title for the Aprilia I just sold ::007::

Then through Orange County and L.A. to La Canada for lunch/gas.

Then up Angels Crest to Angels Forest and over to the 14 before heading to streets of willow.

Once I got on 14 North, the wind was nuts!!!! pulling a good 20-30 degree lean just to maintain a straight line. Dust got so bad it was like a terrible fog day, just brown.

Aside from the track day, they had some vintage bike races going on

The ride home was also windy and a bit cold, but dropped down from the foothills to a beautiful smog free view of the city

Can't see it, but I have a big old shit eating grin on my face

I gotta remember to ::021:: Although I finally passed 2,000 miles on the bike

2 weeks ago, the wife and I went up to Griffith Observatory for a Friday night, gotta love free bike parking at the top of the hill, cause the poor saps parking halfway down and walking up all looked pretty exhausted from the efforts.

Some great views of L.A. from here, even if you can't see many stars

Happy wife after dinner and an evening ride

although not always so happy getting her picture taken

Then a Saturday of downtown Hollywood

Lunch in the park

then some of the county museums

ending with the walk of stars, even found perfect bike parking behind the Roosevelt Hotel
