This is not that bad an idea, IMHO. Seems better than the 2-3 letters that we have been snail-mailed over the months. I ONCE ordered a BMW car and I was able to "track" it from shortly after I ordered until it was loaded on a cargo ship for the US. Too bad is wasn't worth the wait...............GP said:So I went to the YAM website to surf and they had a pop-up survey on the site asking if I found what I was looking for and how they might improve the site. I recommended they create a portal for PDP customers. The idea would be for them to send PDP people a thank you letter (or email) acknowledging your order, providing an order/tracking/unit number, and a website address that you could log into and track your unit. If the portal is not that intelligent/interactive, a broadcast system could be used instead.
