Oh you thought I meant bike. No way I'll get rid of my Tenere still has lots of smiles left in it. I was in bad need of a good mower though. My wife came out to see it and I told her it was hers that made her laugh. Thirty two years of marriage and she's cut the grass once but I've got nothing to complain about.

If I need to sharpen the blades I'll pick it up with this one. This one is mine

I'm hoping this Kubota will be as reliable as the JD. Should be if I maintain it. It has a 23 HP 3 cylinder diesel and a 60 inch mower deck. It has a PTO for a 50 inch garden tiller if I ever get retired and have the time to garden. The salesman seemed especially helpful and nice must be because it's JANUARY ;D

The Kubota will be more reliable than the JD ;D

The most trouble mine has been in 8 years was a torn valve stem.....

Offcamber good to hear you've had no trouble. I didn't expect there would be. Yours looks very handy! I priced a comparable JD and it was 4 thousand and some change higher. NO THANKS I bought the big JD in 03 when W was giving tax breaks to stimulate the economy. I was gonna buy a M9000 Kubota because it was 5500 hundred less than the JD. JD had a bunch of inventory setting and I kept saying no thanks until the JD was only 2400 more and the dealer couldn't even find a Kubota. I've been happy with the JD. Both of these should last me the rest of my life. Happy Digging. Nice thumb!

Orange here too.
This is my daughter playing on it. She would have our Grand Daughter on there with her in this picture." Pre Born"
It sounds like I might be using it to move snow in the morning.
That is funny about your wife mowing one time in 32 years True Grip.
My wife does all the mowing so I can ride. ::012::

You got to marry young and train em. Steve is obviously a world class trainer ::025::

Snake we had a red belly ford growing up. I bet it's still in use it was a 42 model. I'm a big fan of the modern 4WD tractor you can do a lot of work with a loader.

Well if buying a Kubota means you went orange, then I guess I went red in last year.

I don't have a tractor, but there are a lot of Kubota machines around here with my neighbors. Front end loaders, side by sides, zero turns, most every thing I see on my road is Kubota. They really seem to like 'em a lot.

Team Yellow here.... Cub Cadet all the way ! No pictures handy but I got the SC2400 compact tractor w/loader and 60 inch mower, for the horses and pasture. Also have a Cadet Recon Commercial Zero turn for the yard mowing.

I love to ride tractors almost as much as bikes!

Doubt it. His motorcycle "phase" is kind of over.
Im ok with that though.

To me there are about 4 classifications of motorcyclists
1. Not interested
2. Curious enough to try it.
3. In their blood
4. In their DNA

Mark was a 2. 2's move towards 1 over time. 2's are who we get really good deals on used bikes from. :)

3's and 4's are almost identical

What's the difference?

4's are the 3's that ride in the rain and\or acceptable foul weather because they just can't stay off 2 wheels.

And I know what YOU are Steve. Hopelessly too. Lol

If that's the criteria for a 4, then there is a heavy concentration of 4s on this forum. So many that 4 just seems pretty average to me.

I suspect this genre has the highest concentration of 4's, of ANY.

Also, I am betting most 4's are seasoned (code for dinosaurs) riders. ;)

But if you want to see a bunch of 4's all at once at the same time, and on all kinds of machines, the start of an iron butt would be it.

Those are 4-addicts.

Sorry about the side bar True Grip. But it's a tractor thread. I can't get in that much trouble, right?

Have a BX2200 I bought in 2002. Not one issue, other then when the dog chewed on the hydraulic lines.
